Magee High School Band placing #3.

Congratulations to our bands.  These young people put in hours and hours of practice.  Being in the band is not just a “school time” activity.  The members really never rest all year.  From band camps, to parades, to ballgames, to competition, to concerts, these students  are  making their mark in school history.

Magee Band is under the direction of Nathan Luckey. The Band received scores of 1’s in Band, Drum Major, Percussion, and Guard

Mendenhall Band Director is Mark Hudson.  The Band received all 1’s and Superior ranking in each division.  The Band placed 2nd overall among all bands at the competition.

Earlier in the week, I wrote about the Mendenhall Band participating in Game Day at Boswell.  Ya’ll, this band is awesome!  Well disciplined and “on key,” the Band made a huge difference at Game Day.  The members got into the spirit of the game constantly providing music.

I can’t wait for the Christmas parade!

Congratulations to our Bands——-you are making us proud!
