One of the favorite events I attend is Game Day at Boswell.  The afternoon featured a football game between Boswell Hurricanes and Simpson Academy Cougars!  Mendenhall High School band played (they were awesome).  Magee High School cheerleaders cheered!  The Hurricane cheerleaders were decked in yellow and had pom poms!  The day is such fun for everyone.  The clients get involved in supporting the Hurricanes. Seeing all county high schools participate shows Simpson County pride!

The introduction of the Hurricane players and cheerleaders was priceless.  I am not sure who did the announcing, but he did a fabulous job.  You should have heard some of the descriptions of the players!  Each player ran on the field while everyone cheered.

Sometimes I wonder if the people of Simpson County realize how blessed we are to have Boswell.  The number of people employed. The number of people given a life.  The employees of Boswell have my respect.  I watched so many employees interacting with clients.  They were supportive of the clients…and kind.  A special thank you to the employees!

Although the actual SCA high school football team did not participate, basketball players and junior high players filled the slots.  The SCA kids joined in to ensure a Hurricane victory.

Under Boswell regulations, I am not allowed to take up close pictures of the clients.  Thank you to Marney Walker for providing the on-field pictures.  I took a few pics from a distance.

Enjoy the videos of the Magee Cheerleaders and the Mendenhall Band.
