The Scriptural passage for today is found in John 8:12: “When Jesus spoke again to the people, He said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.'” The Word of God for the people of God; thanks be to God! Here we have the very words of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as He addressed His followers and any who might have been merely curious. He proclaimed Himself the Light we all so desperately need in order to dispel darkness from our lives. What an dimension He gives all who wish to walk in light rather than darkness. Come into the light! Let God be your lamp to light the way in your daily walk. Amen!
