Magee Fire responded to a structure fire that occurred on 01/19/2021 @ 11:22, located at 4087 Hwy 28 West, Magee, MS.
Upon arrival, flames were showing from the gable end, emanating from the attic area above the carport.
Firefighters attacked the fire from an office/study room adjacent to the carport. They encountered heavy flames in this area, but the fire was brought under control quickly.
Damage was limited to the office, carport area, & in the attic above the carport. The living area of the home did not suffer any heat damage.
Magee responded with one pumper, a tanker, Chief’s truck & 15 personnel. Simpson SO, & ASAP were on scene for support as well.
