Representative Trey Lamar author of HB 21 suggest pay raises for 11 elected officials.

Presently, the governor is paid $122,160.  The pay increase would bring the salary to $195,000

The Lieutenant Governor is paid $60,00 with a pay increase to $90,000

The State Auditor is paid $90,000 with an increase to $125,000.

The Commissioner of Agriculture is paid $90,000 with an increase to $125,000.

MDOT Commissioners are paid $78,000 with an increase to $105,000.

The Public Service Commissioners are paid $78,000 with an increase to $105,000.

Speaker of the House is paid $60,000 with a pay increase to $90,000.

    Not no but h-e-double toothpicks no!! The different increases go up to 50% which is one heckuva pay raise!
