Brandi Bankston, of Magee, has the honor of serving teachers and students across our great state in many ways. One of those is to be a part of the Mississippi Department of Education/Mississippi Public Broadcasting collaboration. This opportunity will bring classroom instruction to the homes of all children grades Pre-K through 12th. This offer of extended education will help students who need a little extra classroom instruction and also help parents to better understand and assist their children at home.
Brandi began her teaching career at Magee elementary in 2010. She was chosen Teacher of the year for MES in 2015. Brandi and her husband Jeremy have 3 children of their own, Brex, Bella and Corbin Bankston. She is a 2002 graduate of Magee High School. Education and growing the children of Mississippi are some of her top priorities. Brandi serves as a literacy coach for MDE and serves schools across the state.
