District Attorney Michael Guest, of Madison and Rankin county, gave a short speech on the importance of our law enforcement and the contributions they make to society.

Lt. Paul Mullins recognized the Fallen officers: Sheriff E. C. Mullins (March 20, 2001). Sheriff Lloyd Silas Jones (October 4, 1995), Deputy Sheriff James Boykin Barnett (June 26, 1990), Deputy Sheriff William M. Grubbs (July 14, 1986), Constable Wilson Charles Buffington (June 16, 1960), Constable Willis Bernice Herrington (April 13, 1951), Deputy Marshall Willis Washington Hemby (January 30, 1928), Deputy Sheriff Earl Nunnery (January 30, 1928), and Sheriff Eugene Dickson Hubbard (January 21, 1910).
