Henry Dennis , Jr, 78, of Mount Olive, MS passed away Friday, July 28, 2017 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, He was born Sunday, July 2, 1939 in Covington County, MS.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 30, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. Burial will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church in Mount Olive. Bro. Larry Dennis will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601)849-5031.
He is preceded in death by his Son – Graylon Dennis; Grandson- Graylon Michael Sanderford; Parents, Henry Dennis and Melvinie Dennis; 8 sisters and 5 brothers.
Survivors include his Daughters – Teresa Whatley, Mize and Patricia Fortenberry (Chris), Collins; Sons – Rex Dennis (Marisel), Mount Olive; Dewayne Seger, Collins, Teddy Seger, Collins; Grand Children – Meagon Bryant, Mount Olive, Chrystal Johnson, Crystal Springs, Morgan Fortenberry, Collins, Sebrina Dennis, Mize, Heather Fortenberry , Mount Olive, Sean Dennis, Seminary, Wyatt Fortenberry, Collins, Gary Smith, Mount Olive, Paul Sanderford, SC, John Ward, Hattiesburg, Austin Ward, TX; Great Grand Children – Laney Sanford, Christian Bryant, Jayden Hammer, Corbin Sanderford, Hemi Fortenberry, Logan Johnson, Clayton Johnson, Kaden Klienpeter, Keith Johnson;Brothers – OthaLee Dennis, Polkville and Clark Dennis , Polkville.
