Hendrix Magee, 10, of Mize recently played in the Baseball Youth All American Games in Orlando Florida.
Hendrix was the only kid in his age division from the state of Mississippi to attend this event. There were kids from 38 states and 5 different countries. There were 7 teams in his age group.
Hendrix and his team, The 2027 Eagles got defeated in the Championship game, but he came home with the Silver Slugger Award and an Invite to play with Baseball Youth Elite.
Hendrix will be playing with Baseball Youth Elite in Pigeon Forge March 8-10.
Hendrix is the son of Tem and Laine Magee.
