He will wipe away every tear from your eye. By James Davis

The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Revelation 21:4: “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” For the Christian, these inspired Words speak of a time when the old will have passed away, and all things will be new. We will be with God eternally, as well as with all the saved of earth. We’ll not experience death, sadness, or sorrow ever again. This reminds me of an old, old hymn we sang back in the early 1950s when I gave my life to Christ. The words resonated with me then. They still do: “Won’t it be wonderful there? Having no burdens to bear. Joyously singing with heart bells are ringing, oh, won’t it be wonderful there?” Eyes haven’t seen nor ears heard all the Father has in store for us. Make your reservation now.
