Magee High School baseball played the Richland Rangers Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Smith Wills Stadium in Jackson. Road trip worked in favor for the Trojans!
Magee won by a score of 8-5. Magee scored four runs in the second inning, three in the fourth, and one run in the sixth. Richland scored one run in the second second inning, three in the third and, one in the sixth.
Landon Hayes pitched 4.1 innings with four strikeouts giving up five runs on three hits and four walks. Luke West came in to close it out in the 5th inning and had three strikeouts allowing one walk and one hit.
Magee will play at Pelahatchie Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
