Williams Good Ole Days Buffet will open in downtown Mendenhall in November! James Williams has a “Williams Good Ole Day Buffet” in Prentiss. The food is awesome! I am excited a restaurant will return to Main Street Mendenhall.
Days of operation:
Sunday 10:30 AM – 3:00
Monday-Thursday 11:00 – 3:00
Friday 5 PM – 10 PM
Saturday 5 PM – 9 PM

Just a reminder the City of Magee Board of Aldermen meet Tuesday night, October 17th at 6:30. Beginning at 6, the mayor and several aldermen will be present for an open discussion with the public. The meeting will be live streamed on MageeNews.com home page beginning at 6:30.
The Drivers license office will be open Wednesday beginning at 8. The office is located in the Magee Civic Center which is behind the library. Be prepared for a wait…I’m just saying!
Story time at the Library @ 11 for children age 3-5. Movie Day at the Library is Thursday. The movie “Monster Trucks” will be shown at 4.
Magee High School will host an informational work shop between 1-6 on Thursday, October 19th. The work shop will assist students and parents in how to complete State and Federal forms (FASA) for financial aid for college. Several colleges will be present for the event.
Slow down on repair of the New Hope bridge…the bridge may not open until the end of the week or the first of the next week….more repairs than thought are needed.
