HannahLittleGirl HannahKidsBackGroundHearing Hannah’s story and how she set a goal at age 8…to be a doctor…and how she never lost site of the goal. “I realized that to achieve what I wanted was going to take a lot of hard work,” state Miss Roberts. Explaining to the students how she worked toward the goal…never loosing site was an inspiration to not only the students but also everyone at chapel.

HannahFiddle FullLengthShot FrannieClassMoreHannah stressed the importance of aiming high…not to “short change” one’s goals…to push yourself to think big…not to think, “I can’t do this,” but to realize “You can do this”…Aim High!

Hannah explained that she took the ACT 7 times before she obtained the score she was happy with (32). She told of the hours spent in the gym. The hours spent practicing her talent…the hours and hours working toward her goals.

Her kind and loving spirit was evident to everyone. This Mt Olive, MS girl is tops!

I was impressed when I saw her on TV for the Miss America pageant. But today, I became even more impressed….she is awesome…reaching out to everyone…personable, talented, and above all…kind.

Hannah made quite a few friends today at SCA. She planned to visit each of the elementary classrooms following her appearance at Chapel to make pictures with the students.

Now, it wasn’t just the “young” students who had “goo goo” eyes for Hannah…I saw lots of guys enjoying the view!

Thank you Hannah for being just who you are…a beautiful Mississippi girl with values and goals.

Hannah is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. Following her year of Miss Mississippi duties, Hannah will attend the University of Mississippi Medical Center beginning in August of 2016…and she already has med school paid for…..she set that goal…and again achieved!
