Calvary Baptist Church, Faith Tabernacle Church of God in Christ and Goodwater CME Church partnered to clean-up Goodwater Community on Saturday, April 17, 2021.  The volunteers cleaned the area around the old elementary school as well as needed spots in the community.  The group met at the old elementary school at 9:00am. Mr. Joe Logan rendered a devotion and Pastor E. Darnell Moffett expressed thanks to everyone and acknowledged Elder BIlly Paige, Sr. and Pastor Charles LeSure. He provided instructions before church and community members made their way through the streets.

A special thank you to Alderman Patrick Brown for providing trash bags and other supplies. Also, a special thanks to Rev. Mitchell Chatman with the Simpson County Board of Supervisors for organizing a county truck and trailer for item disposal. Sheriff Paul Mullins also stopped by to show his support.

(I have wonderful pictures…I just don’t have all the names!  I am working on getting names!  A great day in the neighborhood!)
