Welcome to the last month of the year!!! I just can’t believe we are already in December…I think my brain is still in July! What a month…a wonderful time to share with others…be with your family…and love one another!
The Mendenhall Christmas parade is tonight beginning at 6. The parade is a great way to kick start the month of celebration.

Magee High School Soccer at Trojan field tonight beginning at 5:30 for the girls and 7:00 for the boys. The Trojans host Lawrence County.
Continued prayers for the family of Joyce Walker. Joyce is very sick. Special prayers for Pam Loveless in the death of her son.

Items are still needed for the Christmas Shop, a project of the youth of First Baptist Church Magee. Canned food, household items, and toys are at the top of the needs list. (there is enough clothing). Items may be left at the Family Life Center of FBC any day this week through Friday. The Christmas Store will open Saturday.
A Christmas Celebration “Worship The King” will be presented Sunday, December 13th @ 6 pm @ First Baptist Church in Mendenhall. Everyone is invited.
The Mooie Looie/Big Buck contest begins today! I am so excited! Rules and additional info are posted on the “Mooie Looie, Oh Yea” article. I hope bunches of folks will share their “deer” picture…no matter the size. There are two divisions: Youth (16 and under) and Biggest Buck. Prize for winners: Rifle and Mooie Looie t-shirt!

Simpson/ Leake basketball game scheduled for Tuesday night has been cancelled following the death of Leake Academy student, Austin Morrow. Austin was killed in a car wreck Saturday night. Please remember his family and friends in your prayers.
