The Mizuno Golden Spikes 12u Carter baseball team completed their season by winning the 13UA Grand Slam State Tournament!

The Spikes were bumped to 13U after their 12U tournament division did not make. They quickly adjusted to the bigger field and were 5-0 on the weekend capping off the championship game with dramatic come from behind win in the last inning.

This team, which is based out of Simpson County, has accomplished so much this year. They were Fall State USSSA and Grand Slam State Champions in the open division and GSSSA World Series runner ups along with several other tournament runner up finishes.
