“God is able to make all grace abound to you.”

The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in 2 Corinthians 9:8: “God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” We know that grace is the unmerited favor of God. It’s also said that grace is God’s doing for us what we cannot do for ourselves. Through this unmerited favor, we receive blessings from God to enable us, His children, to continue doing good deeds in His name. The chorus of an old gospel song “His Grace Is Sufficient” comes to mind when I read today’s verse: “Oh, His grace is sufficient for me, and His love’s so abundant and free. Oh, what joy fills my soul just to know, just to know that His grace is sufficient for me.” Today, let’s show our appreciation to God for His abundant grace by sharing the love, joy, and kindness to all with whom we come in contact. Amen!
