The passage of Scripture chosen for today is found in 2 Samuel 22:1-2: “David sang to the Lord the words of this song when the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He said: ‘The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer.'” To all who are Christians, I ask, “How many times have you sung this same song?” How many times has the Lord delivered you?” David was a man after God’s own heart; yet, he often disappointed God, disobeyed Him, and paid the price. Let us strive not be a disappointment to our Lord and Savior. Let us draw ever-closer to Him, and He’ll drawer closer to us. Amen!
