Myricks Cole, an employee of Boswell and Coach of the 747 Heatz, believes the way to bring young people to Christ is on the baseball field.
I never know who I’m going to meet when I’m “out and about.” Friday, I spoke to a group of 8th graders at Magee Middle School. While “waiting my turn,” I had the opportunity to visit with Myricks and instantly knew I wanted to interview this young man.
Myricks spends his days at Boswell, but his free time is spent with his select baseball team helping to mold these 10 and under young men into Christ like individuals. He explained to me how he felt a calling to help youth become better citizens. Myricks chose the game of baseball as his means.
