Go “GaGa” over Super Bowl 2017!

Lady GaGa won’t be the only star at the Super Bowl if you serve these “touchdown” hits at your super bowl party! What is a Super Bowl party without chicken wings, pizza, and nachos?
I love the original “Buffalo Hot Wings” with Blue Cheese Dressing, but Ted likes barbecued wings on the grill. Whatever way you like them, this Blue Cheese Dressing will be delicious served with them!
Instead of a “traditional” pizza, I serve Pizza Bites! These little tarts are easy to make and are a great “pick-up” appetizer. Serve with a warm marinara sauce or ranch dip.
Your “Pigskin Pick’em” must include Pulled Pork Nachos. Put a pork roast in the crockpot and you have your start. Shred the pork, spread over tortilla chips and top with barbecue sauce, shredded cheese or a liquid nacho cheese, slaw, red onions, jalapeños, etc.

Go “GaGa” over these super foods and always, “Cook from the Heart”!
Blue Cheese Dressing
1-cup Mayonnaise
1-cup sour cream
1/2 – cup buttermilk
4ozs-crumbled Blue cheese
1/8-tsp garlic powder
1/8-tsp lemon juice
1/8-tsp black pepper(or to taste-I like more)
Salt to taste

Mix all ingredients and refrigerate overnight.

Mini Pizza Tarts
1-tube refrigerated pizza dough, rolled out and cut into 1″circles
1-jar pizza sauce
1-pkg. mozzarella cheese, shredded
Toppings-pepperoni, black olives, Italian sausage, bacon bits, peppers, etc.

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a mini muffin pan with cooking spray. Press pizza circles into muffin cups. Add pizza sauce, toppings, and cheese. Bake 16-18 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove and serve.

Crock Pot Pulled Pork
1-4lb-pork shoulder roast
1-tsp vegetable oil
1-cup Barbecue Sauce
1/4cup brown sugar
1-tbsp prepared yellow mustard
1-tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1-tsp onion powder
1-tsp garlic powder
1-tsp chili powder

Pour vegetable oil into the bottom of a crock-pot. Place pork roast in the crockpot. Mix the other ingredients together and pour over roast. Cover and cook about 5 hours or until pork easily shreds with fork. Remove, drain, and shred.
