Georgia Belle Barnett, 79, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday at her home in Magee, Mississippi. She was born Monday, July 20, 1942.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. The Burial will follow in Rutland Cemetery in Mt. Olive. Bro. Roger Lee and Bro. Buddy Keyes will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031.

Mrs. Georgia was a lifelong member of the Eastern Star. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lavelle Barnett; parents, Otho and Margie Sasser; son, Junior Barnett; step-mother, Jeanette Sasser; sister, Bobbie Nell Hart.

Survivors include her daughter, Suzy Valentine (Timmy); grandson, TJ Kemp (Betsy); granddaughter, Courtney Jones (David); great-grandchildren, Hailey Roberts, Rollen Williams, Ethan Wyatt Kemp, Jolene Jones, and Cheyanne Jones; brothers, Victor Sasser (Evelyn) and Vernon Wayne Sasser; sister, Jo Ann Tuggle (Dale); and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mike Hays, Eugene Blair, Leroy Blair, Hugh Lee Blair, Jonathan Sasser, and Mike Hill.
