George Thomas Runnels, 74 of Flora, MS passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026 in Braxton, MS. He was born Sunday, June 17, 1951 in Mississippi.

 Visitation will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026 from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 2:30 P.M. at Mendenhall Cemetery. Bro. Earl Clark will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

 Mr. Runnels loved his work as a carpenter and owned a business called T’s Home Repair. He cherished his family deeply and will be greatly missed by them and by his friends.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeff Runnels and Helen Runnels; sister, Mary Joe Crider.
