George Earl Young, Jr., 55, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Merit Health Rankin in Brandon, Mississippi. He was born Saturday, January 8, 1966, Portsmouth, VA.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031
He was preceded in death by his father, George Earl Young, Sr.
Survivors include his loving mother, Minnie Sue Young of Sanford, NC; four siblings, Frances Hadley and her husband, Christopher, of Fayetteville, NC, Edward Young and his wife, Barbara, of Cumberland, NC, Deanna Turner and her husband, Jimmy Jr., of Springlake, NC, and Clarence Young, Sr. of Sanford, NC; and a host of other family members and friends.
