Gary Edward Shotts, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018, in Mendenhall,  at the age of 59.

He was born on December 4, 1958, in Simpson County, to the late Kade Shotts and the late Faye McWilliams Shotts.

Gary was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He also enjoyed cooking on the grill. He was a retired Tool Pusher with H & P Drilling.    He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.  He was a loving father, grandfather and brother who will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his two daughters, Shelby Hooks (Spencer), Molly Shotts; one sister, Tammie Brown;  two grandchildren,  Sadie Sutton Hooks and Shephard Dale Hooks.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an uncle Paul McWilliams.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 7, 2018, at D’Lo Baptist Church, with interment following in Goodwater  Baptist Church Cemetery, in Magee.

Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall, MS.
