Election Day is Tuesday, November 5th.  Not only will we elect a new governor and several other state and local positions, but we will decide if we want liquor in Simpson County or if we do not.

I have heard much talk about the way the ballot list the liquor question.  People have said the wording is unclear and confusing.  I am just saying, you either vote for or against liquor in our county!

The two words to remember or for and against.  Don’t get caught up in all the discussion of how the ballot reads.  The wording on the ballot is state law and was not worded by the supervisors or election commissioners.  I have seen the ballot and to me the ballot is clear…for or against.

Remember will be live at the Simpson County Court House with election returns the minute they are received!  PriorityOne is sponsoring the election result event.
