Florence L. Moseley Westbrook
(September 10, 1930 – July 25, 2022)

Florence L. Moseley Westbrook, 91 of Taylorsville, Mississippi passed away from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Monday, July 25, 2022, at the George Regional Hospital in Lucedale, Mississippi. She was born Wednesday, September 10, 1930, in Jones County, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Maranatha Baptist Church at 5601 Hwy 35, Mt. Olive, Mississippi 39119.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Maranatha Baptist Church. The burial will follow in Lemon Christian Cemetery, 9035 SCR 581, Raleigh, Mississippi. Brother Rudy Jackson will officiate. Special music will be provided by Mr. John Amory Darden and Mrs. Donna Ainsworth.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

Mrs. Loritta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.  She enjoyed getting together with family, playing dominos, watching the Price is Right, eating fish, and most of all spending time with her family.  She will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James William Westbrook; sons, Larry Westbrook and Stennis Dale Westbrook; father, Frank Moseley; mother, Alice Dee Milner Moseley; brothers, Clyde Moseley and Game Moseley; and sisters, Gertrude Moseley, Georgia Moseley Jones, Marie Moseley Hodge and Bessie Lee Moseley Hathorne.

Survivors include her three sons, Walter Westbrook (Tonya) of Lucedale, MS, John Wayne Westbrook (Laurie) of State Line, MS and Jimmy Carlon Westbrook (Linda) of Brookhaven, MS; eight daughters, June Westbrook Cook (Donald Ray) of Lucedale, MS, Janice Westbrook Sanderford of Raleigh, MS, Jane Westbrook Maxwell of Laurel, MS, Judy Westbrook Boykin (Donnie) of Raleigh, MS, Jeannie Westbrook Sullivan (John) of Raleigh, MS, Jerri Westbrook Arender (Johnny) of Raleigh, MS, Cassie Westbrook Jackson (Rudy) of Mount Olive, MS and Joanie Westbrook Byrd of Mize, MS;  thirty -two grandchildren; sixty-five great-grandchildren; twenty-nine great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Moseley of Taylorsville, MS, and Gerald Moseley of Louin, MS; one sister, Betty Moseley Derrick of Pulaski, MS; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Westbrook, Lucas Westbrook, Justin Westbrook, Dillon Westbrook, Joshua Byrd, Cody Jackson, Dustin Jackson, Ethan Jackson, Elton Westbrook, Scotty Westbrook, Peanut Westbrook, Matt Westbrook, Donald Boykin, and Roger Rhodes.

Honorary pallbearers will be Matt Moseley and Johnny Arender.
