A group of members from First Baptist Church Magee recently returned from a weeklong mission trip to the Gulf Coast.  FBC Magee partnered with McHenry First Baptist Church through the Gulf Coast Baptist Association for a week of minor building repairs, yard work, a Backyard Bible School for children and a community Block Party.  A total of eighteen members from FBC Magee participated in the week.  One highlight of the week was a Community Block Party at McHenry FBC on Friday, July 31.  Although the temperature soared to near 100 degrees, children and their families came out and enjoyed carnival games, a water slide, and a cookout.  The blessings received from the work of the week soared beyond even the temperatures!

FBC Members that participated in the mission trip:

Bob and Diane Roberts
Bill and Linda Bennett
Gail Mayhall
Marjorie Buffington
Alexis and Mercy Bishop
Belinda and Sarah Berry
Brad and Ashton Van Cleave
Buddy and Jackie Keyes
Dan and Gwen Johnston
Nolan and Stacy Bishop
