The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Romans 15:4: “For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scripture we might have hope.” Paul assured the Romans that faith in Jesus Christ has transforming power. Life would change for the new convert and new hope would be instilled by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Also, the teachings found in the ancient writings of the Old Testament were good for reproof and correction for daily living. Amen!
