The Simpson County Board of Supervisors voted Monday, August 3, 2020 during their regularly scheduled meeting to increase election workers pay during pandemic.
Because of the pandemic there will be a $50 fee increase in election commissioners election day fees and a Covid -19 Pandemic fee of $50 for election workers for elections occurring during July 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020.
The fee is allowed by HB 824, Laws of 2020.
