Edna Earl Williams, 90, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020, at Lakeview Assisted Living in Magee, Mississippi. She was born Wednesday, March 26, 1930, in Simpson County.
Graveside Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Magee, Mississippi. Bro Larry Dennis and Bro. Billy Blair will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031
Mrs. Williams was a member of Beulah Baptist Church where she faithfully served as a Sunday school teacher. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, daughter, and sister. She was a member of the Lila McCraney Eastern Star. She retired at Boswell Regional Center as a Clerk. She had a love for the Lord greater than anything else. With that love she also loved her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Williams; parents, George R. Robertson and Easter E. Stubbs Robertson; two brothers, Horace Robertson and George Earl Robertson; and two sisters, Doris Robertson Courtney and Bernell Robertson Scott.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Larry Williams and wife, Ouida of Magee and Charles David Williams and wife, Wanda of Magee; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Williams Cook and husband, Davis of Magee and Alice Jean Williams Holbrook and husband, Clifton of Magee; seven grandchildren, Felicia Cook Kennedy (Waylon), Denise Cook Brown, Bill Williams, Alice Holbrook Green (Tim), Charlie Holbrook, Karen Williams Yarbrough (Josh), and John Williams; thirteen great-grandchildren, Matt Robinson (Ashlee), Taylor Gates, Cassandra Kennedy, Beth Brown, Michael Williams, Zoey Yarbrough, Lilly Yarbrough, Madison Holbrook, McKenzie Holbrook, Sara Holbrook, Katelyn Singley, Robert Singley, and Jacob Singley; one great-great-grandchild, Izzy Robinson, and a host of other family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Clifton Holbrook, Charlie Holbrook, Waylon Kennedy, John Williams, Matt Robinson, and Josh Yarbrough.
