Dear Trojan Nation:
As Principal of Magee High School, I wanted to thank the students and parents who planned, decorated, provided refreshments, chaperoned, and attended the HOMECOMING DANCE last Saturday night at the Magee Civic Center. A special thank you to the City of Magee and Mayor Berry for allowing us a last minute change of venue to accommodate the summertime temperatures and giving us an air conditioned space to host our dance.
Parents really stepped up and volunteered to help students decorate, parents provided refreshments, and stayed to help chaperone the dance. I also appreciated the faculty members who helped chaperone and saw our students – well behaved and having a great time.
I saw young men holding doors for our young women, I saw fancy dresses on young women and sharp dressed men. I saw respect, I saw responsibility, and I saw them ready to have fun…all the things we expect of our Trojan Nation…and they delivered.
I truly cannot express in words how proud I am of the students of Magee High School who attended the 2017 HOMECOMING DANCE and how much I appreciate the parents who came out to support them.

Sincerely,
Dr. Tom Duncan, Principal
Magee High School
