Magee Elementary school principal, Dr. Paul Lawrence, was chosen as the Outstanding Citizen for 2019 by the Magee Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Lawrence elevated the scores at Magee Elementary from a D to a B.
Dr. Lawrence quickly explained that his faith in God and his staff made the difference toward a successful school. He and his staff are striving for an A rating in the future.
The Outstanding Citizen is chosen by a secret committee of Magee Chamber Board members and revealed at the annual Chamber banquet. Lee Maddox introduced Dr. Lawrence.
Congratulations to Dr. Lawrence and the staff of Magee Elementary.
