Darris Ann Pruitt Cook, 93, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Memorial Woodland Village Nursing Home in Diamondhead, Mississippi. She was born Friday, November 4, 1927.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Magee City Cemetery in Magee. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David B. Cook; parents, John T. and Sarah Ann May Pruitt; son, John David Cook; brothers, James Pruitt and Vernon Dick Pruitt; sister, Elouise Pruitt Stubbs.

Survivors include her daughter, Jill Cook McKenzie (Butch); granddaughters, Eva Watford Price (Timmy) and Laurie Lee McKenzie (Chris); great-grandchildren, Hannah Lenaz, Madalyn Hope Lenaz, and Anthony Thomas Lenaz; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Magee Volunteer Fire Department or online at Dolls for Dementia.
