Don’t Blame Obama!!
We have all been reading the news lately. The Hot Button issue at this time is “Transgender Bathrooms” or “Gender Neutral” Restrooms. A majority of people are blaming President Obama for the “Executive orders” and “Directives” that he is issuing to any agency, state, or institution that receives Federal Funds. These directives have been issued and popularized and adopted by businesses without any scientific facts to back the claim of “men trapped in a woman’s body or vice versa!” If these directives are not followed, federal monies will be withheld. He expects obedience from all schools.
There is a dynamic shift happening in our country that started in the 70’s and has continued to this day. We are allowing money, power, popularity, and other people’s opinions to shape our beliefs, our morals, and our ethics. We have forgotten the foundational principals of our constitution in favor of Political Correctness and Inclusiveness. It seems everyone’s beliefs are respected except Christians! We as Christians do not engage in disputes or disagreements because we are not sure of what or in whom we believe! No one studies the Bible enough anymore to stand and defend our principles when we are assaulted in public or in the media; we might be embarrassed by our ignorance. The Bible is miss-quoted more than it is correctly quoted and put into context. We have abandoned our churches, our homes and our morals to be popular and fit in with society. No one wants to be ‘different’.
Many citizens don’t vote out of laziness, ignorance, and lack of respect for the gift of freedom that was made possible by our soldiers that fought and died. We vote for the most popular, the most charismatic candidate, or for a particular party or someone chosen by “those in power”. What a shame and disgrace that we are failing to exercise the most precious privilege our founding fathers wrote into our Constitution! President Obama said on the campaign trail that his goal was to “Fundamentally change America!” He meant what he said! It was politically incorrect to criticize him because he was African American and any criticism was considered racist. If Christians, Constitutionalists and the silent majority do not vote in this presidential election, we are doomed! Does anyone remember Khrushchev banging his shoe on his desk at the United Nations in 1960 and declaring they would destroy us without firing a shot? He said we would be destroyed from within and they would not fire a shot!
Who is to blame for our gigantic shift in morals and laws? WE ARE TO BLAME!!
President Obama is doing exactly what he promised to do. We as Christians are to blame for allowing the liberal, non-Christian, majority in America to shame us into silence. We do not want to be considered bigoted, old-fashioned, out of sync with modern ways, or bring unwanted attention to ourselves. “Someone” will stand up against this craziness and will right our ship!! But who will that ‘someone’ be? Will we sit and allow the government to withhold our monies from our schools? Call their bluff!!! Maybe if enough states and school districts stand together, a movement will be started from the local level to the federal government, instead of from the Feds down to us! It is called Civil Disobedience!!!
