The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Proverbs 16:13: “Kings take pleasure in honest lips; they value a man who speaks the truth.” Do you have “honest lips”? Do you speak the truth? We, as Christians, are urged repeatedly in God’s Word to speak with integrity, edify our fellow Christians, and abstain from gossip of any kind. Strive to be looked upon as one who is honest, forthright, and God-fearing. The Word of God for the people of God; thanks be to God. Amen!
Have a wonderful Sunday and, if able, be sure to join with others of life faith and persuasion in a worship service. If unable, take advantage of the many church service available on television and radio. Serve the Lord with gladness!
