Schedule of 60th Annual Dixie National Livestock Show and Rodeo Events Taking Place
Saturday, February 15, through Sunday, February 16

STATE FAIRGROUNDS, Miss. – Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Andy Gipson invites everyone to attend the 60th annual Dixie National Livestock Show and Rodeo and announces the schedule of events taking place tomorrow, Saturday, February 15, through Sunday, February 16, 2025. All events take place on the Mississippi State Fairgrounds.

The Dixie National Rodeo continues tomorrow, Saturday, February 15, with two shows at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. featuring a concert by award-winning artist Gretchen Wilson following rodeo competitions. The Grammy and two-time CMA winner’s biggest hits include “Redneck Woman,” “All Jacked Up” and “Here for the Party.”

The first-ever Dixie National High School Rodeo will be held on Sunday, February 16, at 2:00 p.m. in the Coliseum. Mississippi high school rodeo contestants will earn points toward the rodeo nationals during the Dixie National High School Rodeo. This rodeo is one of only 10 high school rodeos that count towards points to get to nationals. Tickets are $20.

The Mississippi Ag & Outdoor Expo continues tomorrow starting at 10:00 a.m. inside the Trade Mart. This special Spring Edition is the largest display of everything for the outdoors in Mississippi. Visitors can shop hunting and fishing gear, UTVs and ATVs, tractors, farm equipment, power equipment, Genuine MS® Store and more! Admission to the expo is $15 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Children 5 years and under will receive free admission.

Cowboy Corner is the ultimate hangout with free haircuts and hat shaping by Parker Thomas. Cowboy Corner will be open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. inside the Atrium of the Trade Mart.

Open Livestock Shows continue tomorrow with several cattle shows including the R.O.V Angus Show, Hereford Show and Shorthorn/Shorthorn Plus Show starting at 8:00 a.m. in Barn 14. In addition, the Simmental/Simbrah Sale will take place at 4:00 p.m. inside Barn 12.

The Dixie National Quarter Horse Show continues through Sunday, February 16, in the Equine Center. Multiple Quarter Horse equine events will be taking place daily, and the Dixie National Quarter Horse Expo will be in the upper level of the Equine Center.

o     8:00 a.m. – Open R.O.V. Angus Show – Barn 14

o     10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Mississippi Ag & Outdoor Expo – Trade Mart

o     10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Cowboy Corner – Trade Mart Atrium

o     10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Dixie National Steakhouse – Trade Mart

o     2:00 p.m. – Open Hereford Show – Barn 14

o     2:00 p.m. – Open Shorthorn/Shorthorn Plus Show – Barn 14

o     2:00 p.m. – Dixie National Rodeo featuring Gretchen Wilson – Coliseum

o     4:00 p.m. – Simmental/Simbrah Sale – Barn 12

o     7:00 p.m. – Dixie National Rodeo featuring Gretchen Wilson – Coliseum

o     8:00 a.m. – Dixie National Quarter Horse Show – Equine Center

o     9:00 a.m. – Open Simmental, Percentage Simmental, Simbrah Show – Barn 14

o     10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Mississippi Ag & Outdoor Expo – Trade Mart
