In loving Memory of Dianne Ishee Ainsworth (Nana)
With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Dianne Ishee Ainsworth who peacefully entered her heavenly home at the age of 80 on June 14,2026.
Born on March 21,1946, Dianne lived a life rooted in faith, family, and service to others. A devoted Christian, she loved the Lord with all her heart and faithfully lived her life as an example of kindness, grace, and unwavering devotion. Her faith guided every step she took and was evident in the way she loved and cared for those around her.
Of all her blessings, her greatest joy was her family, and her greatest title was Nana. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who never missed an opportunity to encourage, support, and celebrate those she loved. Her home was always filled with laughter, good food, warm hugs, and an open door for anyone in need.
A proud daughter of Taylorsville, she could often be found cheering on the Taylorsville Tartars, celebrating victories and supporting her community through every season. Her love for sports extended to her beloved Ole Miss Rebels, where she faithfully followed the Rebels and proudly wore red and blue whenever she had the chance.
She embraced life with enthusiasm and a joyful spirit. Whether spending time with family, visiting with friends, watching a ballgame, or simply enjoying the beauty of God’s creation, she found reasons to smile and give thanks each day. Her gentle wisdom, Southern charm, and contagious laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
While our hearts grieve her passing, we rejoice knowing she is now reunited with loved ones who have gone before her and is resting in the presence of her Savior. Her legacy of faith, love, kindness, and community spirit will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Winnie D. Ishee; her father, Walter Buck Ishee; her husband, Billy T. Ainsworth (“B.T.”); and her brother-in-law, Danny Wilson.
She is survived by her siblings, Ronnie Ishee (Patty), Donnie Ishee (Phyllis), Dorothy Ishee Wilson, and Christine Stringer (Bruce); her children, Jennifer Ainsworth Barber, Bucky Ainsworth (Misty), Laurie LeBlanc, and Michael Ainsworth (Crystal); her grandchildren, Josh Gable, Bryce Ainsworth, Cassidy Wiseman (Shawn), Cole LeBlanc (Kayla), Reed Barber, Reece Barber (Macy Kate), Macy Grace Ainsworth, Benton Barber, Graceland Ainsworth, Jason Page, and Maleigha Page; and her great-grandchildren, Kyson Gable, Krew Gable, and Kipp Gable
Pallbearers will be Josh Gable, Bryce Ainsworth, Cole LeBlanc, Shawn Wiseman, Reed Barber, Reece Barber, Benton Barber, and Jason Page.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Kyson Gable, Krew Gable, and Kipp Gable.
A visitation will be held at Summerland Baptist Church on Thursday June 18th, 2026, 6pm-8pm. A celebration of life will be held at MT. Zion Baptist Church Friday June 19th at 11am. A graveside will follow in MT. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
Though she has left this earthly home, her love, faith, and memories will remain forever in our hearts.
