David Wade of the Central Mississippi Planning and Development District presented suggestions to balance the voters in each ward following the 2020 census. A percentage discrepancy in Wards 2 & 4 are the issue.  Wade presented two plans to achieve the Federally ordered redistricting.

Existing wards in the City of Magee
City of Magee Ward Plan 1
City of Magee Ward Plan 2

The board took the matter under advisement as to which plan best serves the citizens of Magee.

David Wade is a Principal Planner at Central Mississippi Planning and Development District based in Pearl, Mississippi. David wrote the zoning ordinances for the City of Magee and will be assisting with the coming changes.  David will meet with the City of Magee Zoning Board as well as the Mayor and Board of Aldermen.
