David Edward Carruth was born on July 29, 1956, in Norfolk, VA and grew up in Pace, FL. He graduated from Milton High School, Milton, FL, and received his Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of South Florida. He worked until retirement at West Pharmaceutical Services in St. Petersburg, FL.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Edward L. Carruth and Lucille M. Carruth of Pace, FL and by his father-in-law, Fred Morgan, Jr. of Mendenhall, MS.

David is survived by his wife of 38 years, Melinda Morgan Carruth; two sisters, Teresa Cooper of Milton, Florida,  and Carla Bellamy of Gainesville, GA; his mother-in-law, Nattilie Morgan of Mendenhall, MS; his sister and brother-in-law, Steve and Liz Morgan Smith of Flower Mound, TX; his brother-in-law, Charles Fred Morgan, Jr. of La Grange, IL.; and many beloved Aunts, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

David was a loving, devoted husband and friend who loved life, traveling, fishing and boating. David brought joy to everyone, and strangers were just friends he had not yet met.

Services will be held on Tuesday, January 2nd at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall, MS at 2:00 P.M. Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the American Heart Association.

Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
