David Edwon Kennedy, age 82, of Magee passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023, at his home. Mr.Kennedy was born August 24, 1940, in Magee, Mississippi. He was the son of Paul Kennedy and Louise Lewis Kennedy.

He was a loving, caring, and devoted husband and father. He was a longtime resident of Magee, where he enjoyed hunting and spending time with friends. David worked for many years running his electrical business. He recently celebrated his grandson’s second birthday.

Mr. Kennedy is survived by his son, Paul Kennedy; his daughter-in-law, Cassia Kennedy and grandson, David B. Kennedy; sister, Sharelle Williams and brother, Paul Louis Kennedy (Lola).

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Kabelac Kennedy; parents, Paul and Louise Kennedy; sister, Barbara Grenn and brother-in-law, Travis Williams.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. The service will be at 2:00 p.m. in the Tutor Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Magee City Cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
