Larry Lamar Holifield passed away on January 19, 2023. He was born to Vasco Lamar Holifield and Ora Lawson Holifield on April 10, 1942, in Ovett, MS.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Gehrig Holifield; sons, Donnie Holifield (Bridgett), Lance Holifield (Angie), Philip Holifield (Lindsey); sister, Frances Pearson; grandchildren, Riley Holifield, Dustin Holifield, Vaeh Holifield, Lillie Holifield, John Riley Holifield, Landon Holifield, Ethan Holifield, Addison Holifield, and sister-in-law, Ruth Holifield.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vasco and Ora Holifield; brothers, Charles Holifield (Claudia), Jimmy Holifield, and brother-in-law, Pete Pearson.
Services will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023, at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall, MS at 2:00 PM with visitation from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Mendenhall City Cemetery with Bro. Duane Parker officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
