Daniel “Danny Mack” Herrington, 77 of Magee, MS passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025 at the Magee General Hospital in Magee, MS. He was born Tuesday, August 26, 1947 in Magee, MS.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee, 302 Eighth Ave SW, Magee, MS. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025 at 1:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Magee, MS. Bro. Timothy Reed will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031
Danny Mack was a hard-working, dependable, loyal man. He loved his family fiercely, especially his grandkids. He was the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kermit Herrington; mother, Nellie Dee Parker Herrington; uncle, Oscar Brown; and aunt, Margaret Parker Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Sellers Herrington; son, Brian Scott Herrington (Ashley); grandchildren, Brian Scott Herrington, Jr., Lylla Herrington, Audranna Herrington, James Herrington and Charlie Herrington; nephew, Hal Bowman (Karen); and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
