D.L. Jernigan, 83, of Raleigh, Mississippi, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2020 at his home in Raleigh, Mississippi. He was born Wednesday, October 28, 1936.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 10, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Crossroads Holiness Church in Raleigh, Mississippi.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Crossroads Holiness Church in Raleigh. The Burial will follow in North Raleigh Cemetery. Bro. Junior Bailey and Bro. Adair Jernigan will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031.
Mr. Jernigan was a member of Crossroads Holiness Church in Raleigh. He also served in the U.S. military. He loved and enjoyed his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Jernigan and Lula Williams; four sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include his six children; Debbie Harvey (Jerry), Cynthia Sprage (Mark), Bennie Jernigan, Amanda Reeves, Keith Jernigan (Hope), and Hubert Jernigan (Donna); wife, Anna Brewer; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty- one great-grandchildren.
