During the Magee Board of Alderman meeting, Tuesday, May 5, 2020, the board voted to change curfew hours to 11:30 p.m. – 5:00 a.m. The decision for change came with the order of the Governor that restaurants can reopen Thursday, May 7, 2020.

The board altered the times to allow citizens the opportunity to eat out. With limited seating in the restaurants, lines will be longer and citizens will have to wait longer to be seated. Pushing the curfew back a couple of hours will help to allow everyone to be serviced.
