If you have never visited the Simpson County Technical Center (Tech Center), put the visit on a list of things you need to see in Simpson County.

The Tech Center presents opportunities for a student to receive hands-on learning in a multitude of fields.  Located in Mendenhall, the Center serves students from all over the county.

Information from the Tech Center:

On Thursday, April 3rd, the Simpson County Technical Center held its CTE Business & Industry Career Day Event at the Simpson County Technical Center. Guests in attendance included Co-Lin Community College Instructors for Welding, Auto Mechanics, Precision Machining, Diesel Technology, Electronics Technology, Early Childhood, and HVAC, as well as Dr. Anika Floyd, Dr. Sharolyn Magee, and others from enrollment and academic counseling services. Local business representatives were on hand from Simpson General Hospital, I.B.E.W., Cole Tractor, Covington County Hospital, Mendenhall Fire Dept., Covington County Hospital EMS, Air South, Simpson County Sheriff’s Office, Mendenhall Police, Performance Therapy, Priority One Bank, Regions Bank, MSU State University Ext. Office, University of Southern Miss. Construction, Mississippi Air National Guard, and Magee News. We appreciate the time that each representative took out of their day to visit with us and share information with our students about career fields, job opportunities, college programs, and much more. Thank you for what you do for the students of Simpson County!!!
