Cozy Mae Echols, 93, of Braxton, Mississippi, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at her home in Braxton, Mississippi. She was born Tuesday, May 11, 1926.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall

Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 20, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. The Burial will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery. Bro. Maurice Bryant will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401

 Mrs. Echols was a member of First Baptist Church of Braxton. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family and a inspiration to all she met.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J Echols, parents, Wayne and Odie Brown.

Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Everett; son, Tommy Echols; grandsons, Tim Everett and Jeremy Echols; great-grandchildren, Austin Everett, Joshua Echols, and Madison Echols; sister, Joyce Brown; brother, Melvin Brown.

Pallbearers will be Tim Everett, Kenny Echols, Lewis Echols, Austin Everett, Chico Brown, and Andy Stevens.
