A special called meeting was held Tuesday, January 30, 2024 to discuss mapping and E911 permitting.

Emergency Management Director John Kilpatrick, Sr. presented the mapping information.  Kilpatrick explained the difficulty in mapping mobile homes.  If the residents are not on the map, often, no garbage fees are assessed nor other necessary permits.

A discussion was held concerning ways to stop illegal trailer hook ups in an effort to register the home. Supervisor Wayne Womack volunteered to talk with Entergy about not installing electricity until all permits are received.  This issue will be revisited at the February 15, 2024 meeting.
