 Dwight Gene Cole, 79 of Brandon, MS passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025 at his residence in Brandon, MS. He was born Thursday, November 7, 1946 in Magee, Mississippi.

 Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 03, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Burial will follow in Puckett Cemetery in Puckett, Mississippi. Bro. JC Cole and Bro. Perry Sanderford will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

 Mr. Dwight Cole, who retired from Atmos Energy after many years of service, proudly served in the U.S. Army. He had a deep love for football; especially for Mississippi State. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Gayther F. Cole and Bobbie Kathyrine Cole; brothers, Allen D.  Cole and Jerry F.  Cole; sisters, Barbara Ann Cole and Mary Kathyrine Cole.

 Survivors include his nephews, David Cole (Dana); uncle, Marshall Cole (Ruby); sister-in-law, Betty S.  Cole; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family members.

 Pallbearers will be David Cole, Scotty Cole, Greg Cole, and Brad Cole.
