The Simpson County Forestry Association will have a general meeting on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, beginning at 6pm at the Simpson County Jr. Livestock Barn. The speakers will discuss the current drought and its effects on our timberlands. A meal will be provided by Smokey Mountain Grille of Mendenhall.
We encourage anyone with an interest in forestry to attend the meeting and join our local association. Dues are $20.00. If you plan to attend, please make sure to RSVP to the Simpson County Extension office at 601-847-1335 by Monday, November 13, 2023.
