Cougars Win in a Thriller Against PCS
The Cougars faced a very tough PCS Bobcat opponent this past week in “The Hole”. The game was a back-and-forth battle as both teams held leads at points in the 2nd half. PCS took a 17-13 lead on the Cougars, and they were driving inside the Cougars 15 yard line to put the game away with under 3 minutes remaining, until, on a 3rd and 7, the Cougars came up with an interception in their own end zone to give them life. That’s all they would need, as The Cougars would march the ball 80 yards and score the go ahead, game winning TD to go up 19-17 and that’s how the game would finish. The Cougars (3-3), who now get back to .500 for the 1st time this year will travel to Brookhaven to face Brookhaven Academy on Friday night.
